Description
Adjunct Professor of Finance and Program Manager David Kaczorowski will be giving you a taste of his dynamic Finance lectures with this relevant topic for today's graduates - "Bitcoin: What is it and why does it matter?" Bitcoin is one of the highest profile financial instruments in recent memory. Its tremendous gain in value over the last two years has given rise to stories of early investors who have become rich with very little effort. Yet many of those who have become wealthy or hope to become wealthy with Bitcoin understand little about the instrument itself. Euphoria over the “hot new thing” in financial markets goes back many hundreds of years, and always carries the potential for disaster. Professor of finance, David Kaczorowski, will profile what Bitcoin really is and what it does. The discussion will include views as to why it is so popular and comparisons to similar financial trends through history. Participants will receive a waiver code to apply to one of our programs at no charge (up to $65 value) following the webinar.
